Choose a Device / Application
Adding to Kindle
Step 1. Download the file (for Kindle) to your computer.
Step 2. Copy the file onto your Kindle into your “Documents” folder.
Adding to iPad or iPhone
Step 1. Download the file (EPUB) to your computer.
Step 2. Drag it from the download location onto the iPhone or iPad’s icon in iTunes. It’ll copy to your iBooks library automatically.
Adding to a Sony Reader
This Sony Reader suggestion may also work for anyone running into a problem with the EPUB file
Step 1. Download the file (EPUB) to your computer.
Step 2. If adding via normal methods doesn’t work, download Calibre.
Step 3a. Add the EPUB to Calibre and tell it you want to convert the EPUB to EPUB (it will let you do this). Then in the appropriate conversion section, choose your Sony device’s profile out of the list.
Step 3b. Or a copy of the MOBI format. Add the MOBI file to Calibre. Delete any copies of the EPUB file in there. Sync to device. Calibre will want to convert to EPUB, let it.
Adding to Nook
Step 1. Download the file (for Nook) to your computer.
Step 2. Plug in your Nook and copy that file into the “My Documents” folder on your Nook.
Adding to Android Kindle App
1. Download the Kindle version of the file (.mobi)
2. Connect your droid to your computer
3. Navigate the Android device through file explorer and open the kindle directory
4. Copy/Paste the .mobi files to /kindle
5. Detach the phone from the computer and start the Kindle application. The book will show up without having to do anything extra or download “free” content.
Adding to iPad /iPhone Kindle App
1. Download the Kindle version of the file
2. Unzip if necessary into a folder
3. Connect the iPad / iPhone to your computer
4. Open iTunes and view the apps on your iOS device and scroll to bottom of the page
5. Under “File Sharing” apps will sit Kindle, click on this and then click “Add…” to the right
6. Browse to file location and click “Open”
7. Wait for file to sync (visible progress bar at the top of iTunes)
8. Detach the iPad / iPhone from the computer and start the Kindle application. The book will show up without having to do anything extra or download “free” content.
